There are times when conducting a safety observation that the act of the observation needs to be paused.  TMaSS allows the user to pause an observation, whereby the system creates a temporary Observation object at the point at which the user paused the observation.  At any time the user can then revisit the observation and restart the process from where they left off.  If for any reason you wish to continue a temporary Observation, you can delete.

You can pause a safety Observation at any time during the wizard by pressing the pause icon  at the bottom left of the Safety Observation dialogue as shown here:

You can restart an observation by tapping an object and selecting resume from the 'Edit' menu:

Finding and restarting a paused Safety Observation

When you pause a safety observation a new object is created.  To  resume the safety observation you first need to find it.  The frist thing to do is change the object filter to 'In Progress'.  This will then display any safty observations that have been paused for the selected company or site.

One the 'In Progress' filter is selected a list of all paused safety observations will be shown.

To resume the safety observation, tap the object, and select resume from the edit menu.

You can also delete an 'In Progress' safety observation by tapping the delete menu item.
